Auf einen Blick

MerkenDas Wichtigste

Meinungsbildung und Manipulation in Medien untersuchen
Gerüst – eigenes Material der Fachschaft.

Achtungfeste Verbindung aus dem Deutschen übertragen

So nicht
make a photo, do a mistake, rise a question
So richtig
take a photo, make a mistake, raise a question

more informations, the news are
So richtig
more information, the news is

information, advice, news und knowledge sind im Englischen unzählbar: keine Mehrzahl, kein a, das Verb in der Einzahl. news endet auf -s, steht aber mit is.

Achtungwörtlich aus dem Deutschen

So nicht
Very honoured Ms Clarke, I have 15 years.
So richtig
Dear Ms Clarke, I am 15.

Achtungsince und for vertauscht

So nicht
I have lived here since two years.
So richtig
I have lived here for two years.

since steht vor einem Zeitpunkt (since Monday, since 2020). for steht vor einem Zeitraum (for two weeks).

AchtungPräsens statt Present Perfect bei „seit“

So nicht
I live here since 2020.
So richtig
I have lived here since 2020.

Seit wann? Im Englischen: Present Perfect. I have lived here since 2020 – nicht I live here since 2020.

AchtungAdjektiv statt Adverb

So nicht
She sings beautiful.
So richtig
She sings beautifully.

Wie jemand etwas tut: Adverb mit -ly. She sings beautifully. Nach be, look, feel: Adjektiv.

AchtungSatzstellung wie im Deutschen

So nicht
Yesterday went I home.
So richtig
Yesterday I went home.

Yesterday I went home.

AchtungOperator überlesen

So nicht
Outline … → eigene Meinung geschrieben
So richtig
Outline …

AchtungStilmittel verwechselt

So nicht
Her smile was like the sun. → metaphor
So richtig
→ simile (Vergleich mit like)

Prüf das Merkmal: Vergleich mit like oder as ist ein simile, ohne Vergleichswort eine metaphor, gleicher Satzanfang eine anaphora.

AchtungStilmittel nur benannt, Wirkung fehlt

So nicht
The speaker uses an anaphora.
So richtig
The anaphora creates rhythm and makes the message memorable.

In the story the author tells us about his life.
So richtig
The first-person narrator tells us about his life.

'A disaster' (l. 12). The author says this.
So richtig
The author calls the plan 'a disaster' (l. 12).

Kids are online like all the time.
So richtig
Young people spend a great deal of time online.

Im Kommentar und in der Analyse schreibst du formell: ganze Formen, sachliche Wörter, kein you know und kein gonna.

AchtungZusammenfassung abgeschrieben, mit Zitat oder Meinung

So nicht
The author was horrified when she learnt … (fast wörtlich)
So richtig
The author is shocked by …

Despite it rained, we played.
So richtig
Although it rained, we played.

despite steht vor einem Nomen oder -ing: despite the rain. although steht vor einem Satz: although it rained.

AchtungTon passt nicht zum Leser

So nicht
Hi Ms Clarke! … Love, Paul
So richtig
Dear Ms Clarke, … Yours sincerely, Paul Schmidt

„Tom has a dog, Sam has a cat.“ Sam: Hund
So richtig
Sam: Katze

AchtungNebensache statt Hauptaussage

So nicht
Hauptaussage = ein Wort, das oft vorkam
So richtig

„You can watch our keepers feed the otters.“ → Die Besucher füttern.
So richtig

„Let's meet at the bus stop. – No, let's meet at the bookshop.“ → Bushaltestelle
So richtig
→ Buchladen: Der Plan hat sich geändert.

Im Gespräch ändert sich der Plan. Es zählt, was am Ende gilt. Hör auf no, but, instead und so now.

AchtungEinschränkung überhört

So nicht
„Normally at ten fifteen. But it's Sunday today …“ → 10:15
So richtig
→ Heute ist Sonntag, also 10:50.

Ein kleines Wort schränkt die Aussage ein: but, only, normally, until, except. Hör, was danach kommt – das gilt.

AchtungAussage der falschen Person zugeordnet

So nicht
Emily: „For me the robot was the difficult part.“ → Jamal fand den Roboter schwer.
So richtig

Achte beim Hören darauf, wer gerade spricht.

AchtungVorwissen statt Hörtext

So nicht
Das klingt vernünftig. → right
So richtig
Wurde es gesagt? Nur dann.

Das klingt vernünftig, wurde aber nicht gesagt. Es zählt nur, was du hörst.

AchtungFalsch und nicht gesagt verwechselt

So nicht
Dazu kam nichts im Hörtext. → wrong
So richtig
Dazu kam nichts im Hörtext. → doesn't say
