Achtungfeste Verbindung aus dem Deutschen übertragen
make a photo, do a mistake, rise a question
take a photo, make a mistake, raise a question
more informations, the news are
more information, the news is
information, advice, news und knowledge sind im Englischen unzählbar: keine Mehrzahl, kein a, das Verb in der Einzahl. news endet auf -s, steht aber mit is.
Achtungwörtlich aus dem Deutschen
Very honoured Ms Clarke, I have 15 years.
Dear Ms Clarke, I am 15.
Achtungsince und for vertauscht
I have lived here since two years.
I have lived here for two years.
since steht vor einem Zeitpunkt (since Monday, since 2020). for steht vor einem Zeitraum (for two weeks).
AchtungPräsens statt Present Perfect bei „seit“
I live here since 2020.
I have lived here since 2020.
Seit wann? Im Englischen: Present Perfect. I have lived here since 2020 – nicht I live here since 2020.
AchtungAdjektiv statt Adverb
She sings beautiful.
She sings beautifully.
Wie jemand etwas tut: Adverb mit -ly. She sings beautifully. Nach be, look, feel: Adjektiv.
AchtungSatzstellung wie im Deutschen
Yesterday went I home.
Yesterday I went home.
Yesterday I went home.
AchtungOperator überlesen
Outline … → eigene Meinung geschrieben
Outline …
AchtungStilmittel verwechselt
Her smile was like the sun. → metaphor
→ simile (Vergleich mit like)
Prüf das Merkmal: Vergleich mit like oder as ist ein simile, ohne Vergleichswort eine metaphor, gleicher Satzanfang eine anaphora.
AchtungStilmittel nur benannt, Wirkung fehlt
The speaker uses an anaphora.
The anaphora creates rhythm and makes the message memorable.
'A disaster' (l. 12). The author says this.
The author calls the plan 'a disaster' (l. 12).
Kids are online like all the time.
Young people spend a great deal of time online.
Im Kommentar und in der Analyse schreibst du formell: ganze Formen, sachliche Wörter, kein you know und kein gonna.
AchtungZusammenfassung abgeschrieben, mit Zitat oder Meinung
The author was horrified when she learnt … (fast wörtlich)
The author is shocked by …
I stayed at home although I was ill.
I stayed at home because I was ill.
although: Gegensatz im selben Satz. because: Grund. however: Gegensatz am Satzanfang. so: Folge.
Achtungdespite mit ganzem Satz
Despite it rained, we played.
Although it rained, we played.
despite steht vor einem Nomen oder -ing: despite the rain. although steht vor einem Satz: although it rained.
AchtungTon passt nicht zum Leser
Hi Ms Clarke! … Love, Paul
Dear Ms Clarke, … Yours sincerely, Paul Schmidt
„It is not on the table.“ → auf dem Tisch
→ nicht auf dem Tisch
Achte auf not, n't und never – ein kurzes Wort dreht die Aussage um.
AchtungNebensache statt Hauptaussage
„You can watch our keepers feed the otters.“ → Die Besucher füttern.
„Let's meet at the bus stop. – No, let's meet at the bookshop.“ → Bushaltestelle
→ Buchladen: Der Plan hat sich geändert.
Im Gespräch ändert sich der Plan. Es zählt, was am Ende gilt. Hör auf no, but, instead und so now.
AchtungEinschränkung überhört
„Normally at ten fifteen. But it's Sunday today …“ → 10:15
→ Heute ist Sonntag, also 10:50.
Ein kleines Wort schränkt die Aussage ein: but, only, normally, until, except. Hör, was danach kommt – das gilt.
AchtungAussage der falschen Person zugeordnet
Emily: „For me the robot was the difficult part.“ → Jamal fand den Roboter schwer.
Achte beim Hören darauf, wer gerade spricht.
AchtungVorwissen statt Hörtext
Das klingt vernünftig. → right
Wurde es gesagt? Nur dann.
Das klingt vernünftig, wurde aber nicht gesagt. Es zählt nur, was du hörst.
AchtungFalsch und nicht gesagt verwechselt
Dazu kam nichts im Hörtext. → wrong
Dazu kam nichts im Hörtext. → doesn't say
Achtungkeine Umstellung nach Never oder Not only
Never I have seen such a beach.
Never have I seen such a beach.
Steht ein verneinendes oder einschränkendes Wort am Satzanfang, kommt do, have oder should vor das Subjekt – wie in einer Frage.
AchtungHervorhebung falsch gebaut
All what we want is a fair chance.
All we want is a fair chance.
Hervorheben geht mit It is … who oder that, mit What … is oder mit do vor dem Verb. Nach All steht kein what.
AchtungPartizip mit falschem Subjekt
Feeling tired, the party ended early.
Feeling tired, he left the party early.
Achtungis said to falsch gebaut
The castle says to be haunted.
The castle is said to be haunted.
Im Bericht steht be plus said oder believed, die Zeit des Sagens steckt in be. Was vorher war: to have plus dritte Form.
Achtungfalsche Zeit nach wish und if only
I wish I have a car.
I wish I had a car.
Nach wish und if only rutscht die Zeit zurück: jetzt Past, früher Past Perfect, Ärger über andere would.
Achtung-ing und to mit anderer Bedeutung verwechselt
I stopped to smoke. (gemeint: aufgehört)
I stopped smoking.
If I had time, I will help.
If I had time, I would help.
Typ 1: wahrscheinlich (if plus Präsens, will). Typ 2: nur vorgestellt (if plus Past, would). Typ 3: vorbei (if plus had plus 3. Form, would have).
Achtungwho, which verwechselt
The girl which lives here …
The girl who lives here …
who für Menschen, which für Dinge und Tiere. that geht für beides.
AchtungFalsche Form von be
They is at home.
They are at home.
I am, you are, he, she, it is, we, you, they are.
Achtung-ing- und -ed-Form verwechselt
The film was bored. – the stealing bike
The film was boring. – the stolen bike
Die -ing-Form ist aktiv: a boring film, the girl sitting there. Die 3. Form ist passiv: I am bored, the stolen bike.
Achtung-ing und to vertauscht
I enjoy to swim.
I enjoy swimming.
Nach want, decide, hope: to plus Grundform.
AchtungNach did die Vergangenheitsform
Did you went out?
Did you go out?
did zeigt schon die Vergangenheit. Danach kommt die Grundform: Did you go? I didn't go.
